INVITATION – Walk in consultation Dokters van de Wereld

On the 8th december the Dokters van de Wereld bus will be in the city centre of Groningen! The Dokters van de Wereld bus is an initative that offers a variety of medical services for free to people who have difficulties accessing the health care system. One can get a test for cervical cancer for free, as well as information about birth control. The latter can also be placed on spot in form of the implanon, copper IUD, hormonal IUD, or contraceptive injection. The walk in consultaion is hosted in collaboration with Time2Connect. At the Meetingpoint we have coffe, tea, and chocomel ready for everybody who passes by.

What: smear test cervical cancer, birth control, HIV rapid test (instant results)
For whom: everybody with a uterus. Specifically people experiencing difficulties accessing the health care system, e.g. undocumentes people, homeless people, people working in the sexindustry, people without health insurance.
(The test for cervical cancer is for people over 30, whom did not have a test in the last five years)
